TT Mbha turns the tables around by hosting the #TTMbhaCaddyGolfDay
Following the cancellation of the #SowetoYouthGolfDay due toprotests outside the Soweto Country club, businessman TT Mbha has not given up on his quest to create employment and build the township economy.
The Soweto Country Club condemns the violent and destructive protests which have resulted to the cancelation of the #SowetoYouthGolfDay.
“Soweto Country Club is only 18-hole Golf Course in the township in the whole of South Africa thus we need to protect this facility which is beneficial to the residents from an economic point of view. Events that are hosted at Club create jobs and further contribute to the maintenance of the Club. We therefore need this Club to be protected for everyone’s benefit,” Justice Matshaya, PRO Soweto Country Club says.
“The protests on 16 June 2021 disrupted a well-planned event aimed at adding value to the community and building the township economy,” TT Mbha says.
Acting Chief Marketing Officer, Brand South Africa, Sithembile Ntombela says: “It is the resilience in our DNA that propels us to think beyond the challenges, pressing on to find new and different ways during difficult times. It is an inspiration to work with PYP ambassadors that live by these values. TT Mbha is a true epitome of a great philanthropist.”
