Uncovering a Trail of Deception, Greed, and Tragedy in Emnyameni
Sindi’s untimely death has left the townsfolk in a state of shock and grief. Rumours swirl that her death is connected to a sinister ritual which has all been falsely pinned on Nomeva. And now, it’s time to say goodbye to the one we’ve lost.
To honour Sindi’s memory, a memorial service will be held at the prestigious Martha’s Royale Hotel. However, the controversial presence of Leroy and Thandiswa threatens to stir up further turmoil. Despite them being unwelcome, their determination to expose the truth and seek justice ignites a chilling anticipation among the townspeople.
To seek the very justice everyone is looking for is a brand-new character – Detective Zakhele “Ziggy” Phakathi played by Melusi Yeni, who makes his debut on the 14th of February.
Detective Phakathi has come to Emnyameni as part of a special team looking into “occult” deaths – related to muthi rituals – across the country. Sindi’s murder caught his attention, and he is in Emnyameni to sniff around. But the truth is, he has not been given “permission” to be there.
