We are ready to welcome dance participants out to make the 2022 leg of the competition even more exciting. Those will be hot and sexy dancers with the swag and dripping with the hunger to achieve,” says Edward Makhayne, RedSquare Sales manager.

ABOUT THE RED SQUARE DANCE COMPETITION
Dance is the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression. People from all walks of life can participate in the art form.
The RedSquare Dance Competition caters for dancers ready to set the stage alight. Through moves to the beat of their hopes and dreams, they pave and paint the way to success.
It is a competitive platform of hope and possibilities. RedSquare, as a brand, views the dance competition as a vehicle through which to give back by presenting a stage of additional exposure for amateur dancers and a cash injection to the winners. It is about encouraging young people to further professionalize and use their natural talent in generating income for themselves.
Previous winners of the RedSquare Dance Competition include the Soweto dance crew – Soulistic Fusion Trio. The S’bhujwa dance group won the 2015 RedSquare Dance competition through their energetic and effortless fusion of various cultural and dance influences. In 2017 Musa Motha, a member of a hip dance group Dynamic Crew, used his one leg to help his crew win R35 000.
