More menu items mean more options
Catering to the needs of customers wanting fresher, tastier lighter meals, Sandwich Baron has introduced two new flavoursome wraps to their menu.

“We wanted to offer something that was tasty, but also light, especially with Summer knocking on the door,” says franchisor, Sally J’Arlette-Joy, founder of Sandwich Baron.
With South Africans being big meat eaters, J’Arlette-Joy says they created the BBQ steak salad and avocado wrap and the crumbed chicken & salad wrap to cater for this market.

“The BBQ wrap is a scrumptious wrap with tender pieces of steak, fresh avocado and a refreshing salad. We also know that chicken is king is South Africa, and so created a mouth-watering crumbed chicken and salad wrap,” says J’Arlette-Joy
But J’Arlette-Joy admits she was a tad anxious about the national training process rollout, and the reception the new items would receive from loyal patrons.
“Ask any franchisor, one of the most common headaches stems from quality assurance. Ensuring that each and every one of your franchisees is consistent in their use of fresh, quality ingredients that produce the same taste across the board. But I’m pleased, that the training, implementation and the new menu items have been a success and have been well received across all 47 national branches, with figures indicating the new items might just outsell the established ones,” J’Arlette-Joy explains.
More menu items mean more options

Sandwich Baron has been dishing out delectable meals for the past 23 years, with a level of experience and dedication which is fuelled by enthusiasm J’Arlette-Joy says.
“Not to blow our own horn, but you can taste the passion in the food, it’s so good. Our legacy is what we create, and ours is great memorable taste.”
The sandwich tycoon, wanting to spice things up, also added seven other items to its menu, which include, spicy crumbed chicken livers salad; deep fried spicy chicken livers; tasty chicken boat; creamy chicken livers box; spicy snack box; a veggie and chicken delight platter.

“We wanted to offer those with a palate for spicier food, something to warm up their taste buds. All the new items, with the exception of the two wraps and veggie platter have a spicy offering.”
She assured the diehard patrons of Sandwich Baron that the new food items were not replacing any of the established menu options, but instead were there to grow the variety of the entity’s offering.
“In addition to the all-time favourites, jacked up platters and our banting menu, we added these new items to offer our customers, a wholesome variety that is fresh, tasty and healthier and unique only to Sandwich Baron,” J’Arlette-Joy concludes.
