MOOZLIE REIGNS SUPREME WITH UPCOMING DEBUT ALBUM – VICTORY!
South African Rapper Moozlie is getting ready to conquer the music industry with a fiery debut album.
After achieving widespread success in 2017 with her mixtape Versus, rapper Moozlie is gearing up to release a powerful studio album under her record label Nomuzi Mabena Music.
The debut album; cleverly titled victory – takes the listener through a musical journey of hip hop soundtracks, kwaito flavours and pop sounds. The 14 tracked album also features some of the biggest names in the game such as AKA, Gemini Major, Thabsie, Rouge, Youngsta CPT and many more. They all add a special contribution to the album as Moozlie tell us her story of Victory.
“I’d be lying if I said this album didn’t take a lot out of me. I really had to push myself to make it the best it could be, and I think that is exactly what Victory is all about. It’s about pushing yourself beyond your limits. Going through the absolute most to be the best. I’ve genuinely put my heart and soul into this album and I can’t wait for everybody to hear it.” Said, the independent artist on the release of Victory.
“I really feel like I’ve grown a lot from the mixtape to the album. Victory is a lot more musical and has some very introspective moments. I also share a lot more of my religious views with people, which is something that is very important to me. It’s all I’ve wanted to listen to since I started recording it so I’m pretty sure everybody is going to love it as much as I do.” She added.
She went on to conclude “Like Victory in life, collaboration and team work have been at the heart of this project from the very beginning. Every single person & brand that has contributed to this project has been such a blessing and I couldn’t have done this without them.”
Moozlie’s debut album is set to drop on Friday, 07 September 2018 on all digital music platforms.
